Medical Weight Loss

Unwanted weight can have a negative impact on how we feel and look. Body Mass Index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to adult men and women that is commonly used to assess health risks related to being overweight. A BMI over 25 is consistent with being overweight. A BMI of 30 or greater is consistent with having the medical condition obesity, which is associated with an increased risk of a number of health issues. At Avanti Face and Body we offer medically supervised weight loss services. This includes prescription medication with appropriate monitoring, nutritional support and/or a monitored exercise program.

In addition, we offer body contouring when you get to your weight loss goal to address any trouble areas that do not respond to your prescribed treatment plan.
